WPT Global is a real, operating room with a named operator, a license line and written terms. That settles "does it exist." It does not settle "will it treat me fairly." We read the operator's documents on 4 October 2026 for its license, RNG faults, withdrawals and complaint process. We also list what we could not check. The paper trail is there, an independent RNG audit is not visible on the pages we read, and the withdrawal rules have conditions worth knowing before you deposit.

Who Actually Runs WPT Global

The site footer and the Terms and Conditions name the same chain of companies. The site is operated by Everstronglink Limited (the Terms spell it "Everstronglink Limitada"), registered in San José province, Costa Rica. A Cyprus company, Kashxa Limited, acts as payment agent for it. The footer states that the operator is "licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission under License Number 0000005."

Two things follow from that, and neither is a verdict. First, the brand name is World Poker Tour, but the party you sign a contract with is a Costa Rican company, and the Terms put disputes under the courts "located in Tobique." Second, we have not checked license number 0000005 against any independent register, so we can repeat the claim without confirming it. If the license matters to your decision, ask the room's support for the register entry and look it up yourself.

What the Terms Say, and Whether You Can Check It

We read the Terms and Conditions clause by clause and kept the ones that decide what happens when something goes wrong.

TopicWhat the operator's documents sayCheckable by you?
RNG faultClause 8.5: if a game fails or gives an inexact result because of a software or RNG breakdown, the stakes and winnings from that game are cancelled and the balance is restored. Clause 8.8: after an RNG malfunction the stake is returned and winnings from it are void.Only after the fact. The clause tells you what happens if they find a fault. It does not explain how a fault would be found.
RNG testingWe searched the Terms and the homepage text for audit, certificate, eCOGRA, GLI or iTech. No hits on either page. The homepage says its technology "detects collusion and prevents cheating in real time."Partly. We did not search everywhere. A certificate could be in a help-center article we did not read.
Withdrawal gateClause 6.3.1: you must deposit and wager at least once. Clause 6.3.2: each later deposit must be wagered in full, and you must generate rake or gross gaming revenue of at least 10% of the deposited amount before a withdrawal is processed.Yes. The wording is public, so do the arithmetic before depositing.
Payout routeClause 6.3.5: money goes back to the method the deposit came from. Clause 6.3.6: with several methods, they may split the withdrawal across them.Yes.
Frozen accountsClause 12.2: on suspicion of prohibited activity they may lock access to funds, give warnings (two may lead to closure), void winnings and keep the balance. Re-registering after a termination "may lead to immediate confiscation of funds."Only the wording. The standard of "reason to believe" is the operator's own.
ComplaintsClause 10: internal dispute first, then alternative dispute resolution through MADRE, then escalation to the Tobique Authority by email. The route exists. We did not test how this route performs.

Under the 10% rake rule, a $200 deposit means you need roughly $20 of rake or gross revenue generated before cashing out. At low-stakes cash tables that is a lot of hands, because rake per hand is small. Tournament buy-ins carry a fee, which may count toward the figure; the Terms do not say how the two are weighed, so ask support before you rely on it.

"Rigged": What a Complaint Can and Cannot Show

Searches for "WPT Global rigged" are mostly bad-beat stories, and a bad-beat story is weak evidence in either direction. Pocket aces arrive about once in 221 hands, so a thousand-hand session deals them roughly four or five times. In an all-in against pocket kings preflop, aces win about 82% of the time. The other 18% is one loss in every five or six such spots, and it feels like a pattern long before it is one.

To verify a claim, you need a defined sample of exported hand histories. Test a specific frequency against the expected one, such as how often flops pair the board or a showdown flips the favorite. A few thousand hands cannot show a bias of a percent or two, which is why only large pooled data sets or a lab audit can settle the question. Complaints that cannot say how many hands they cover tell you how someone felt. They do not show what the software did.

Ask the room which lab tests its RNG. A published RNG certificate is a cheap thing to show. We did not find one on the two pages we read, and we could not reach the review sites that usually collect payout complaints (Trustpilot returned an access block to our fetch), so we have no independent payout record to quote. We will not invent one.

The Reviews on the Operator's Homepage

The homepage carries a block of star ratings with masked names such as "A******" and "h*****," and the text praises withdrawal speed. These are selected by the operator and cannot be traced to accounts. They are marketing copy, and we gave them no weight here.

Where Bots Fit Into the Fairness Question

Clause 8.2 bans robots and external player assistance programs, and clause 8.3 says steps may be taken against them, including "running checks on software operating concurrently with the poker room software." If you play on an account that later gets flagged, clause 12.2 above is the one that applies to your balance. This site treats automation as a risk to your funds. For how detection works in practice, see how our WPT Global tooling works within the rules and why cheats and hacks are a trap. If you came here from a Gold or sweepstakes search, that product is a separate site with its own terms.

A Short Checklist Before You Deposit

  • Ask support for the register entry behind license number 0000005 and look it up yourself.
  • Ask whether the RNG is tested by an outside lab and request the certificate.
  • Work out the 10% rake requirement for the deposit you plan to make.
  • Check that your country is not on the excluded list in the Terms. The list is long and, by its own wording, not exhaustive.
  • Start with a small deposit, withdraw part of it, and note how long that takes before you put in more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is WPT Global a scam?

We found no sign of a scam in its documents, but no independent evidence proving it legitimate. It has a named operator, written terms and a complaint ladder. We could not confirm the license number against a register, an outside RNG audit, or real payout records.

Is WPT Global rigged?

We have no evidence that it is, and no evidence that it is not. Individual bad-beat reports do not settle it. Only a large hand-history sample or a lab audit can.

Does WPT Global pay out?

The Terms describe a payout process with conditions: a first wager, full wagering of later deposits, a 10% rake or revenue requirement, and payment to the original method. We have no independent withdrawal data to add.

Is it affiliated with this website?

No. WPTGlobalBot.com is independent and not connected to WPT Global or the World Poker Tour.
