WPT Global Bot - How It Works When You Play By The Rules
For WPT Global, we built this poker-specific artificial intelligence to help you learn about your leakages via post-game analysis and not provide you with real-time coaching while you're playing or attempting to cheat. The WPT Global poker bot is a training aid and not a live game assistant. After each session, it reviews your hand history, describes how you actually play compared to your opponents, and outlines a simple, easy-to-read plan for the next session. The WPT Global poker bot will never look at the table, never tell you what action to take during a hand, and never click on anything for you. Separating training from actual gaming is important because WPT Global prohibits robots and all external player assistance tools and has implemented A5 Labs' AceGuardian AI security system to detect bots, real-time assistance, collusion and prohibited software.
What a Poker Bot Is, and What Our Bot Isn't
Legacy poker systems that utilized "bots" would create static scripts and simulate mouse-clicks in real-time. Today's integrity teams are also searching for these exact behaviors and our WPT Global bot does not produce either behavior. The WPT Global bot is intended to work completely offline against the hand histories you have previously recorded. The model uses the data from your hand histories to portray how your opponents typically behave at your stakes and will offer recommendations to help direct your decision-making process while you are playing.
If the bot looks at the live table and/or tells you what to do during a hand, it is functioning as a WPT Global real-time assistance (RTA) tool and therefore is outside of acceptable boundaries. However, if it waits for you to complete a session, reviews your hand history, and recommends actions for your next session, it is the kind of tool that you can safely live with. According to WPT Global's terms of service, all players must make their own decisions without the use of robots or other forms of external assistance that could impact a player's decision-making process.
What's Inside – From Raw Hands to Ready-to-Use Guidance
Data In
Upload your latest WPT Global hand(s), or point the desktop helper to your hand history folder. The parser will extract the following information from your hand history: positional information, effective stack sizes, size selections, board texture, blockers, showdown results and contextual information related to time-of-day and table-type -- a Thursday night pool does not play the same way as a Sunday day pool.
Sense-Making
The model generates decision-trees that you will actually navigate, i.e., single-raised pot in/out of position, 3-bet pot in position, blind v/s blind, short stack scrums, etc. The model will anchor to a theoretical baseline and adjust frequencies based upon your pool's leakages -- perhaps your local recreational players over-fold paired, low-turns after a small flop bet, perhaps they over-call rivers after broken draws, perhaps small blind 3-bets increase during promotional events. The point is to be specific -- not generic charts.
Plan Out
After completing each review, you will depart with two to three clear edits -- not a 40-page treatise. Examples include increasing thin value on brick rivers with a small size, transferring a portion of bluff mass from the turn to river when your blockers are clean or eliminating a spewy c-bet line out of position that your population penalizes. Write your plan on a sticky note if you prefer. Then, go play as a human.
Built for WPT Global's Reality – Not Because Of It
Reality Number One: On Table Tools Are Monitored
WPT Global has stated that any device that alters normal decision-making processes, including "robots" and "external player assistance", is prohibited; players must make their own decisions. That is the written policy.
Reality Number Two: Detection Is Active, Public and AI Driven
WPT Global promotes A5 Labs' AceGuardian, an AI-based system that detects bots, real-time assistance, collusion and prohibited software. Media coverage in 2024-25 detail the partnership and resultant enforcement actions. That is not folklore. That is the operational environment.
Reality Number Three: Visible Cases Become Headlines
A Twitch streamer was banned in 2025 for displaying his range charts on-screen while he was playing. Regardless of whether or not you agree with the level of punishment imposed, take the message seriously: if you utilize a tool that functions like a WPT Global RTA -- even just a spreadsheet on-screen -- your account is at risk.
Design Response
- Will never view the live board.
- Will never prompt you to act on a hand, nor will it send pop-up messages, overlays, or execute actions for you.
- Will only evaluate your hand histories offline and generate human-executable adjustments.
This design adheres to both the letter and the intent of the rules and yet still affords a valid, repeatable improvement path.
How Does it Really Feel?
Logoff from WPT Global, launch the desktop trainer, upload your latest hand history and specify the length of your study session (i.e., 5 minutes for a rapid evaluation or longer if you have additional time available). You will observe a short dashboard: where you lost expected value, which sizes you selected did not align with the texture of the board, which lines you called too much, and which lines your pool folded to. Bookmark a couple of areas to practice, then the system will print a one-page summary of your session. No gadgets at the table. No whispered "help." The next time you play, you will already have determined the modifications you want to implement.
Sample Adjustments to Advance the Ball
Texture-Based Turn Pressure
Many recreational pools fold too aggressively when facing a paired, low-turn after a small flop bet. Your review may contain additions to turn-bluff size in position and reductions to pure air frequency. Alongside that plan, you will also need to develop a plan to slow down when a turn improves a calling range. Straightforward. Simple. Testable.
Blind vs. Blind Clarity
When facing a small flop stab from the small blind on a cold board, you may expand flop call frequency with backdoor, and redirect some bluff mass from the turn to river when your blockers are clean. You will also establish a low-equity hero call discipline on brick run-outs. As a result, you will have less two-street spews and more clean steals.
River Disciplines When Playing in Position
Reviews often indicate players are checking back rivers on calm textures far too often. The answer is to reduce your thin-value frequency at one-third pot and reduce your low-equity hero call frequency. Track this for twenty thousand hands and continue the approach if the node ev increases.
Mandatory Safety Precautions
Read-Only Posture
Our desktop helper will only access your hand histories and session data. We have chosen not to enter the realm of "assistance" because our desktop helper will never connect to the client, never scrape the live board, and never capture hot keys.
Process Segregation
Training aids should be executed after you exit the client. This will minimize the likelihood of conflict with any monitoring mechanism the integrity team may employ, and prevent you from being tempted to "peek" at the board mid-hand.
Human Execution
All recommendations produced by the system will be capable of explanation in a single sentence. If a recommendation cannot be explained in a single sentence, it will be unlikely to endure under scrutiny. Your account -- and your win/loss ratio -- will benefit from fewer, more viable rules that you can actually apply.
Where Legitimate Search Phrases Must Be Directed (No Spam Allowed)
People will search for WPT Global Bot, WPT Global RTA, WPT Global Cheat, WPT Global Hack, and WPT Global Strategy. The bottom-line fact is simple. A live "WPT Global Bot," or any "invisible" in-hand tool that assists with your decision-making process is forbidden and will likely be detected by systems like AceGuardian. A viable WPT Global strategy employs AI in isolation from the table to augment your judgment and rely on you to make your decisions once the cards are airborne.
Get Up and Running Immediately
Save Your Hand History
Export/save your most recent WPT Global hand(s). If you have never exported your hand history before, start exporting them immediately so your model learns your pool and not some hypothetical population.
Conduct an Integrity-Friendly Review
Select a limited subset of hand types: single raised pots out of position, blind vs. blind, etc. Allow the desktop trainer to determine three problematic habits that are costing you money and only save the top two.
Practice Purposefully
Practice five critical hand types without the client running. Develop a realistic line and maintain a normal tempo so that you can transition seamlessly to live play.
Apply the Plan
Enter your next session with two distinct reference points. No gadgets at the table. Just you, your notes, and improved decision-making.
