WPT Global Gold Explained: What ClubWPT Gold's Terms Say
"WPT Global Gold" almost always means ClubWPT Gold at clubwptgold.com. Its terms name Grand Cru Concepts Ltd, a Cyprus company, as owner and operator, and say nothing about WPT Global. You cannot buy its Chips. You pay for a monthly training subscription or Hand Analysis packages, and only Chips won in a Promotion can be redeemed, after full ID verification. We read the terms on 7 October 2026 (the page states "Last Updated: September 29th, 2026") and quote the clauses below.
Which Product Is "WPT Global Gold"?
Two sites share the World Poker Tour name and look similar in search. WPT Global is the real-money room. On 4 October we read its terms and found it run by Everstronglink Limited in Costa Rica (see our WPT Global legitimacy review). ClubWPT Gold is a different site with a different contracting party. Its footer says it "is owned and operated by Grand Cru Concepts LTD", registered in Nicosia, Cyprus, company number HE 463724.
The WPT brand appears only in the marketing footer, which says WPT, World Poker Tour and Spade Card Design are registered trademarks of WPT Enterprises, Inc. The homepage says its training is "Backed by the World Poker Tour". The Terms and Conditions never mention WPT Global or the World Poker Tour. The site's FAQ describes ClubWPT Gold and ClubWPT as two different sites with separate accounts. We found no stated corporate link between ClubWPT Gold and WPT Global, and we did not search company registers, so treat "no stated link" as exactly that.
We found no product called Gold inside the WPT Global terms we read. If you hold a WPT Global cash balance, nothing on ClubWPT Gold draws on it.
How Chips, Subscriptions and Redemption Work
The Terms define two virtual tokens, "Chips" and "Hand Analysis". The words "Gold Coins", "Sweeps Coins" and "sweepstakes" do not appear in the Terms.

The extract we worked from gives no Chip-to-dollar rate and no wagering multiplier. Your Chips have to be won in a Promotion, and your identity has to clear. Check clause 13 in your own account before you assume a rate.
Where the Real Money Is
You pay the company for a subscription or Hand Analysis. The company pays out when Chips won in a Promotion are redeemed. Chips themselves are never bought, so a balance of Chips is not a deposit in the way a WPT Global cash balance is. The homepage says "100% Legal: U.S. residents age 18 or older can play in supported regions". It also claims "RNG Certified" and "Industrial-leading bot and collusion detection". We did not see a certificate reference in the pages we read, and we have not tested either claim.
Clause 2.1 excludes Arizona, Connecticut, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Nevada, Tennessee and Washington, plus Quebec and every country other than the USA and Canada. Players must be 18 or older. In New York and Florida the maximum prize is Chips worth a $5,000 redemption value, and California gets the Promotion only on a limited basis.
What the Terms Say About Bots
Clause 14 is titled "Identification Verification Checks; 'Bot' Detection; Improper Uses of the Platform". Clause 14.4 lists prohibited activity. Among the entries are any "tool, service, script, or software that automates or aids in decision making of strategy", HUDs, screen scrapers, automatic note takers, automated seating or betting software, screen sharing and remote desktop, virtual machines, VPN, proxy or geolocation masking, collusion, soft play and chip dumping. Clause 6.1(a) allows one account per person.
The consequences are written in clause 23. Grounds for suspension include multiple accounts (23.1(b)), coordinated play with other customers (23.1(m)) and use of "automated systems such as bots" that give an unfair advantage (23.1(p)). Under 23.4 the company reserves the right to withhold the balance and to recover Chips or Hand Analysis attributable to those activities. Clause 14 adds that suspension can cover "pending or future redemptions", and 16.3 says a fraud-flagged account gets no redemption obligation.
The Terms describe Hand Analysis as the company's own tool that "may include the use of AI tools". The same document bans third-party tools that aid decisions. The operator sells its own AI-assisted analysis and prohibits third-party aids.
We see no case for farming. Chips cannot be bought or sold. Redemption needs a verified licence and address, proof of payment on a risk basis, one request a day, and up to ten business days. A ban can freeze redemptions already requested. We do not know how often accounts are actioned. What We Could Not Check
We did not register or log in, so subscription prices, the Chip-to-dollar rate and the daily limits on redeemable Chips are unconfirmed. We did not verify the RNG claim or any licence. We also did not find a dated, checkable thread about Gold being rigged or botted that we could cite, so this page cites none. Payout speed in practice is untested. The company can change the Terms, so confirm the clause text against the live Help Center before you rely on it.
An earlier September version of this page described "Gold Coins" and "Sweeps Coins" and a purchase price for coin packs. The operator's own Terms do not use those names, and this version replaces it.

Is ClubWPT Gold the same account as WPT Global?
No. Its terms name a different company, Grand Cru Concepts Ltd, and do not mention WPT Global. Its FAQ says ClubWPT Gold and ClubWPT are separate sites with separate accounts. Your WPT Global login and balance do not carry over.
Can I buy Chips?

Can Chips be turned into real money?
Only Chips won in a Promotion, and only after identity verification. The Terms give 100 Chips as an example minimum, allow one request per 24 hours and warn that a bank payment may take up to ten business days.
Which states are excluded?
Arizona, Connecticut, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Nevada, Tennessee and Washington, plus Quebec. New York and Florida cap the maximum prize, and California is limited. Check clause 2.1 for the current list.
Does running a bot on ClubWPT Gold make sense?
We think not. The Terms ban automated decision tools, HUDs, VPNs and multiple accounts, and a violation can cost the balance and pending redemptions. There is no purchasable balance to farm, and cashing out requires verified identity.
